Yoho National Park is located in the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia. Here you can explore around the turquoise-coloured Emerald Lake, with its natural stone bridge, and Lake O'Hara, which is surrounded by alpine lakes and cliffs. On a hot day, go chasing waterfalls, and feel the cool mist coming off of Wapta Falls & the towering Takakkaw Falls. Stop at the Spiral Tunnels viewpoint along the Trans Canada Highway to view trains as they loop through famous Kicking Horse Pass, which was the point that the Canadian Pacific Railway decided to pass through the Rockies in 1881. Whatever you do, leave the stress of modern, every-day life – and all those heavy electronics - behind.
For those days when you don’t need to pack your entire life in your bag, we’ve created the 9” Yoho Messenger, the smallest messenger in our line-up. Styled after our full-size popular full-flap messengers, the Yoho is roomy enough to carry your cell phone, a room key, a tour book, and other key travel documents, but small enough not to weigh you down. Features include:
Adjustable shoulder strap for cross body or over the shoulder use
Canvas-lined interior with 2 interior zippered pockets
Main compartment with 2 dividers, large enough for iPad mini (shown in photos) or other small table
High quality brass hardware and rivets
Full-flap leather cover with magnetic snap closures for easy access and security
Dimensions: 9" wide x 7" high x 2.75" deep
Material: Genuine Goat Leather
Our bags are made in a small Indian studio using Indian goat hide leather. Our bags are made of naturally tanned (chemical free) genuine leather and are lined with cotton canvas. All of our hides are oiled, not dyed, which brings out the natural beauty of the leather.
A few things to keep in mind: While we are almost certain that you’ll love your Mountain Messenger Bag, we can’t guarantee that your bag will look exactly like the one shown in our pictures.
Our leather bags are made from un-dyed leather. We are selective about the hides that are used in our bags, but we don’t use dyes to cover the small spots and markings that are natural and authentic.
Goat hides come in a variety of colors and shades. The bag you receive will very likely not be the exact same color as the one shown, and may also combine hides of different shades.
Leather will last for a lifetime. Scratches and snags are unavoidable when our bags are put to good use. Goat hide is soft and very durable, and unlike most leathers, it will actually look even better as it ages! Your bag will develop a beautiful natural patina over time, so don’t be afraid to use it.
Please also note that when you first receive it, your bag will smell of leather – unfortunately, this wonderful smell mostly fades within a few weeks!
