Shipping & Returns
Our bags are currently shipped from Canada. We use Canada Post with tracking and you will receive a tracking number when your item has shipped.
We haven the started shipping outside of Canada and the US yet, but please contact us if you are from another country and we would be happy to provide you with a shipping estimate.
Please allow 1-3 business days for order processing. International orders may be delayed due to customs clearance, a process that is out of our hands.

Here at Mountain Messenger Co., we believe that doing business doesn't mean we can't leave the world a bit better. We strive to use minimal and recycled or recyclable packaging. Reducing our packaging reduces our environmental footprint and enables us to direct $15 from the sale of every bag to our Live Bravely Campaign to raise awareness and funds for the Shriner's Children's Hospitals of Canada.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS
My bag doesn't look like the picture on your website.
Because our bags are handmade, each bag is unique. The bag you purchase will have its own colors and distinct markings. Natural leather may have small scratches or flaws that are part of it's character. Our leather is not dyed or varnished, and so these markings are easily visible. If you don't like the idea of markings and flaws, you may want to order your bag from a retailer that offers colored varnished bags.
My shoulder strap or front closure straps are folded or my bag is squished.
Our bags are carefully boxed for shipping, but transportation can sometimes leaves the bag a bit flat, or a strap looking bent. The easiest way to fix this is:
- Remove your bag from packaging
- Add a couple of heavy books or binders to your bag
- Hang your bag by the shoulder strap from a sturdy hook
For pocket flaps, pack with a small dry washcloth or other item to smooth out the leather and then let sit overnight.
What is Your Return Policy?
We want you to love your bag! If, for some reason, it isn't love or there is something wrong with the bag you receive, please send us a note and a few photos right away and we'll try to resolve it immediately. Our email address is email@example.com
We do offer a hassle free return policy if necessary. All regular price merchandise that is purchased online can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date for a full refund or exchange. All bags must be returned unused. The condition of the product is left at the discretion of Mountain Messenger Co.
We will not assume responsibility for misdirected, lost or damaged return shipments. You may want to purchase tracked shipping for a minimal extra fee. Please contact us via email prior to returning the bag, and re-package your bag in the original box.
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a one year warranty against material and manufacturing defects. If you discover a material or manufacturing defect, please send us photographs of the defect. We will replace or repair the item at our discretion. Please note that we do not have a local repair facility at this time.
Warranty claims must include proof of purchase that the purchaser bought their bag directly from Mountain Messenger Co. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your bag, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your bag. We usually resolve warranty claims within 5 days.
